Daybreak wins gold at Digital Business Ireland Awards
The Daybreak team is delighted to win “Social Media Campaign of the Year” at the annual Digital Business Ireland Awards, which were announced on 3rd February. The award was won for the “Daybreak The Code” Halloween campaign. This campaign was digital led and covered a number of elements, including ‘cinematic’ videos, gamified posts, canvas ads spotlighting value for Halloween, digital offers flyer takeover, TikTok and Instagram stories. The creative campaign revolved around breaking the code to help two trapped employees escape a Daybreak store that was taken over by a mysterious presence, through a series of clues with competition incentives to keep audiences engaged.
Storified video content was a key component of the campaign. Overall, there were 2.1 million video views throughout the campaign, making it one of the strongest performing video campaigns for Daybreak to date. Thanks to everyone who engaged with the campaign… and stay tuned for more videos!
